I’m Eve (short from Evelina) and I’m yet another dreamer trying to see the world.
I was only 3-4 years old when I first showed some signs of wanderlust. I was too young to realize that but my condition was as clear as the noon-day sun. I was bitten by the travel bug.
My brightest memory is the burning desire to go and visit Strasbourg. I have no clue why I was so fascinated by Strasbourg but this child’s whim grew over the years and later became a mission – to travel as much as I can.
While I was a student, I traveled mainly in my motherland – Bulgaria – a wonderful and mythical land with a rich history and unique traditions. I roamed it from the very west up to the Black Sea to the east and fell in love with the gorgeous Bulgarian nature.
And so the days and years passed, and sometimes I occasionally thought about Strasbourg and the dream to travel, see new places and experience new cultures. Shortly after I reached my 20th year, I started thinking more and more about this dream and decided to realize it.
Oh, yes, I’ll travel the world and I’ll write about it! Pathetic, right? But call me a dreamer.
However, on this blog, I’m trying to be helpful in sharing my journeys with you, as well as some photos and useful information about the places I’ve lived in or visited.
Some time ago, the fate smiled at me and I’ve got the opportunity to live in an exclusive and beautiful city – Amsterdam. In Daily Dutch Affairs I share things from my everyday life as an expat in the Netherlands – trips, history, culture, and food.
Spain is quite a special country as well since I spent there more than a year, living in Barcelona and Seville, traveling around, exploring the tremendous differences between every region and walking Camino de Santiago.
On Instagram, I often upload pictures of Amsterdam and the rest of my travels.
Also, if you have questions about any destination I’ve visited or you want to share your experience or just want to say ‘Hi’, you can contact me via my email: email@example.com.
I’d be glad to receive your thoughts and comments.
