The location
Hotel Villa Montparnasse is located in Montparnasse, a district with deep creative roots. The lively cafes, notable restaurants and the real life vibe in the air make it one of the fanciest areas in Paris. The hotel is located just next to one of Paris’ most visited sights – the iconic Montparnasse Cemetery. The Luxembourg Gardens are a must see and easy accessible by foot from Villa Montparnasse.
The room
There are 46 cosy rooms in Hotel Villa Montparnasse. My room was not too big or too small, simply perfect for a short stay. The room was bright and equipped with a big comfortable bed, a small desk, a tv, two chairs and, of course, a minibar.
The wifi connection was good and there was an internet plug in the room. A nice addition to the room was the bathtub in the bathroom.
The most amazing thing was the view. There was a small balcony from where I observed the wonderful Montparnasse district. That was an astonishing way to start my day while I was in Paris.
The Facilities
There was no restaurant in Hotel Villa Montparnasse, only a cosy and luxurious lobby bar. Anyway, the hotel offers a breakfast which you can enjoy in your room or in the eating area.
As for the interior, I really liked the exotic touch and the greenery all around.
Final thoughts
As a conclusion, I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Villa Montparnasse. The staff was gentle and helpful. They made me feel comfortable as I am in my own home. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
